Dude either way it's going to be nuts. Like im talking 7 hr wait to get in. So really like i said it doent matter. See you there bro!

The first year... traffic was horrible. We were 3 miles from the campground and it took us 9 hrs to move those 3 miles.
The second year was a little better, but really, it's so tough to manage that much traffic well. I know they have improved the traffic situation again and hope that it will be more successfull, but it's going to be a hell of a wait either way and no matter what time you get there. If you are planning on arriving early, arrive early, it's hard to say what time you should really show. One thing is for sure, have a good map when you get there, because it's possible you might get stuck in 65 miles of traffic on the interstate and you haven't even taken your exit to get to the campground yet. So what we did one year was just took some random exit instead of following the rest of the cars -- we ended up shaving a few good hours off of our wait by taking some back routes. BUT - on the other hand, police might have some of the roads blocked off in hopes to funnell all traffic to 'Roo through only certain roads.

Tough to say man.... good luck!! The wait blows ass, but once you get in it's all most definitely worth the wait.

We arrived at the site at about 5am on Friday last year and waited in traffic for seven hours, I think. I know they are improving it. We are leaving around 5pm on Wednesday from Dallas (~13 hour drive in an RV) hoping to get in line early on to be inside the camp hopefully for most of Thursday.
